Include correspondence, genealogical material, legal papers, an account book, Masonic "bye-laws" of the Widow's Son Lodge, photographs, ambrotypes, medals, eyeglasses and an obituary of Dr. Charles P. Wertenbaker. The bulk of the letters, 1893-1913, pertain to genealogical information C.P. Wertenbaker is requesting in order to become a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Of interest is a letter, 1895 August 31, to Wertenbaker from his father, Charles C. Wertenbaker re: the elder Wertenbaker's Monticello Cigar Factory business and his plans to recoup his financial losses.
